Thank you for attending Nathan Stoltzfus's talk on "Hitler and the Management of the Germans" last week in such large numbers. The Pleasants Family was filled to capacity. The video will be up on our you tube channel shortly (https://www.youtube.com/user/KrasnoUNC). 

On Thursday coming, January 29, 5.30pm, Prof. Stephen Rabe of the University of Texas at Dallas will give an exciting talk about "Torture, Murder and Genocide: Cold War Memories in Latin America and the U.S." ALL WELCOME of course.

Stephen Rabe is one of the nation's foremost historians of U.S. relations with Latin America.  He has published and edited 11 books, including The Killing Zone: The U.S. wages Cold War in Latin America (2012, 2015);  Eisenhower and Latin America: the foreign policy of Anticommunism (1988);  John F. Kennedy: World Leader (2010).

Steve Rabe has taught U.S. history in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador as well as in Ireland, Finland, and many other countries.
