Yerevan, Armenia, June 17, 2014

The day started well with breakfast in a very nice old-fashioned room was some very old and very solid and rustic furniture. Mother and son from Russia, but now living in Cambrdige in the UK, joined us at that long oblong table. And did they let us know that they were working/studying whatever at Cambrdige University. Every second sentence referred to this very fact. It was rather strange that the linguist son - studying old ancient languages - was in Armenia to observe the slaughtering of a cow and look at the poor thing's liver as the people he studies who spoke these ancient languages in Armenia and elsewhere had a thing for sacrificing animals.

to be continued.....got to rush to the airport.....
